The American Dark Age (2016-2020) An archived history of the worst President ever

That’s actually Oscar Wilde, in the character of Lord Henry Wotton from ‘The Picture of Dorian Grey.’

That’s actually Oscar Wilde. Dorothy Parker is, “The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.” (And also, when she was asked to use the word “horticulture” in a sentence as part of a parlor game,“You can lead a horticulture, but you can’t make her think.”)

… There’s something terribly disconcerting about quoting truly clever people in a Donald Trump thread.

I’d say “illustrates” rather than “explains” - but you get the point.

Reminds me a bit of:

This is Trump’s new ridiculous/godawful twitter banner photo:

This is @darth’s edit:

This is my garbage senator. But he’s apparently now kind of distancing himself from Trump?

Context:

Amazed he didn’t blame antifa, good on him.

Meanwhile social media is already blaming antifa, BLM and Trump. Because people are fucking idiots.

Why haven’t these portraits been given to the U.S. Government Publishing Office yet? As of July 25, anyway.

Six months into President Donald Trump’s tenure, pictures of him and his vice president are absent from the walls of federal courthouses.

In fact, the official portraits are not hanging in any federal buildings, according to Patrick Sclafani, regional spokesman for the U.S. General Services Administration. The agency manages about 1,600 federal buildings.
[…]
The official photos have been snapped, but the White House hasn’t given them to the Government Publishing Office.

“GPO is standing by to reproduce copies of the president and the vice president’s photos for official use,” agency spokesman Gary Somerset said. But he doesn’t know when the agency will get the files.

Trump did not look at the monkey. Nobody tells Trump what to do.

First he tweets, “Our great country has been divided for decade. Sometimes you need protest in order to heel, & we will heel, & be stronger than ever before!”. The tweet is then deleted, and replaced with another to correct “decades”.(was “decade”. Then that gets deleted and replaced to correct “heel” (now heal). Edit: I see that you guys already covered this in the Nazi thread.

I look forward to seeing all these tweets arranged in order, in the museum of American history.

There’s this, for now.

9 dimensional chess, people.

So, Blackwater? ("South Asia?)

Thought I’d read that idea had been shot down, but this can’t be good

Going by past performance, I’d guess he’s going to announce we’re annexing the Sudatenland.
