“Basta” is Italian. Capisci?

Errr, yeah, that’s what I meant :D Stupid Google translate.

Well, in Signor Avenatti’s ancestral homeland, “Basta!” is a common expression when one is fed up.

For example, this gentleman is fed up with people using cell phones at the theater:

Both Italian and Spanish, actually.

The best part? One of the reasons he gave is that Democrats have abandoned the DACA kids. facepalm

Trump is banging porn stars and playmates 30 years younger than himself, fleecing the government for a fortune while playing golf every weekend, and smacking down Dems and celebs on social media at every opportunity, all while winning trade wars, putting the fear of God into shithole countries like North Korea and Iran, scaring the Mexicans and Islamic terrorists into fleeing our country and making libtards go nuts every single day. To his base, that is the definition of WINNING.

We’ve pretty much reached peak opinion on Trump. Everyone in the country either thinks he’s total shit and wants him gone or they’re actively rooting for him to burn it all down. Nothing that emerges at this point is going to sway either group from their opinions. All we can do at this point is hope that the daily barrage of insanity keeps up until November, and then again through 2020, so the outrage stays fresh and people turn out to vote.

Basta is italian

… clearly I am late to the party here

I say if he has a smalll or particularly ugly dick, we should get them out. On the other hand, I fear that one time he may not be lying is when he claimed in primary debate he had a big dick. In that case lets hope they remain unseen. Trump is shameless but luckily so is Stormy Daniels.

You are absolutely right. From the perspective of your sterotypical redneck male. The banging of porn and playmates is not bad thing, “they are a lot hotter’ than the trailer trash Clinton was banging”. Who cares of Bolton is an unrepentant NeoCon, who makes both John McCain and myself look like peace loving hippies.
A Trump voter is only going to see how tough the guy talk and how politicially incorrect he is.

That is so awesome. But i bet people think of the fact he’s rich more than his idiotic behavior and probably believe if they had a kid who grew up to be like trump, he’d share his wealth. So probably the negative and positive will cancel each other out.

In case you’re wondering what Donnie and his intern are rambling on about here, two things happened this week: Trump’s top personal attorney, John Dowd, resigned, and Trump tried recruiting conspiracy theorist and Fox News talking head Joseph diGenova for his legal team. (Which direction the causation went here is unclear.) But then the diGenova deal broke down because he had conflicts of interest, thwarting Donnie’s dream of collecting everyone on Fox.

So that’s why the President of the United States is on Twitter saying, “Desperate? I’m not desperate! Anyone who says I’m desperate is a liar!”

Paul Callan has, I think, the right interpretation of Trump’s lawyer wishing:

Cohn was a true believer in scorched earth legal tactics. The widely reviled and feared lawyer would willingly use the legal equivalent of chemical weapons to achieve his goals. Trump was so taken with the toughness of his legal consigliere that he, according to The New York Times, kept an 8-by-10 photograph of the feared barrister in his desk drawer to terrorize those who resisted his demands.
According to the Times, Trump even said, “Where’s my Roy Cohn?” last year when Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation, helping eventually to open the door for the appointment of a special counsel.

I think I’d rather have Q build my wall. He always came up with the cool shit.

So the manufacturing company I work for is based in a very red state. And the top leadership votes Republican almost as a block. But then today, as an official company announcement, they trashed Trumps steel tariffs, quoting exactly what is happening: the costs of ALL steel is going up, dramatically so. They ended the update with suggestions for all company personnel to call their congressional representatives and demand change.

I actually floored by the announcement. I’ve even overheard some of my Trumper coworkers mumbling just how stupid the steel tariffs are.

Are the tides finally turning?

On tariffs, sure. Maybe not so much with the poor/gay/brown people bashing.
