I think I already mentioned “Heardle”, the song identification game, and how it’s not really like Wordle at all. It’s just figuring out a song with as little of the intro as possible. There’s no strategy or problem solving, it’s just a song you’ll know or you won’t, and how much of the song it takes to jog your memory. I guess maybe you can sometimes game the autocomplete for your guess to get a little info because it’s a very limited selection of music being pulled from (“Well this song reminds me of The Police, but they didn’t show up when I started typing that, guess I’ll reconsider my guess…” for example).

Anyway, despite it not being anything like Wordle, my wife and I do the Heardle together when we can, so it’s a little fun as a shared music trivia game. And then sometimes despite all of my caveats about how there’s no skill, it’s still fun to brag about solving it quickly. Like getting today’s in one guess! I’d recognize that feedback anywhere, even if I don’t actually know what caused it.
