Finally caught a game this Cup, as I’ve been remiss in watching. I’m far, far from knowledgeable, but it did seem Croatia was a bit fitter over the course of the long match. Their players looked a lot leaner, too; apparently England insists their players bulk up for hooliganism and bar fights or something, which probably doesn’t help in the long run for endurance.
Happy for Croatia. They’ve been scrappy as hell this whole tournament.
Not sure to root for France or Croatia, or just chill on the beach for another 4 yrs.
