There was a little contact, but it wasnât really the foot-swipe from behind. But Dembele, as Bismarck suggests, shouldnât have been in a fullback position there (but had to be on the deflection off Giroud that put ARG on the counter.) And once DiMaria was past Dembele, you could feel the danger presented by Argentina in one way or another.
As I mentioned after Fra-Eng, France are too undisciplined in defense and playing that way against Argentina would(will) be punished.
