There should be a little tick box next to Repair Automatically and Resupply Automatically on your Service screen for each tank.

On the service window there are 2 checkboxes for repair and resupply automatically.

Just got a chance to play post-patch. Have to agree about the lag. It is pretty horrific now and is occurring in all maps. Everyone’s tanks were popping around the battlefield and all were suffering problems with movement. Probably best to go defense until they sort out the issues with the lag.

EDIT: Seems once the servers exceed 9,000 players the lag really kicks in. Hopefully this is simply a server load issue and they can increase their server resources to compensate.

Bad timing for them. Penny Arcade just gave them a plug in Tycho’s daily write-up.

FWIW logged in around 11:30pm Pacific Time and played for quite a bit. No problems with lag at all. Player numbers under 9,000 so this may support Sean’s hypothesis.

Frame rate still seems down quite a bit from pre-patch.

Smoke is destroying me frame rate. Smoke from muzzle fire, destroyed tanks etc all drops my fps to 4-8 for a few seconds. Great!

there was a way to disable this in a text file in beta, probably still is.

They’ve added some new option with this patch, maybe some of them affecting your performance. IIRC the option sounding something like “Tracks effects” is new, is quite demanding and is On by default.

Yeah, the 9,000 figure sounds about right. We’ve had pretty noticable (although not TERRIBLE) lag yesterday until about 1 am EST and then it disappeared.

The word from the devs is that the patch adds substantial amount of data to the client/server traffic, they need to expand their server farm to compensate.

Speaking of numbers. It really amazes me how popular WoT is in Russia/Eastern Europe. During prime time they have over 150,000 simultaneous players and a queue to log in. Compare to the max number of 13,000 in the US. Who would have thought.

I wonder what are the numbers on the EU server.

Euro population seems to be around 25-30k but it’s a weeknight and Thursday is a payday .
I’m going to have to try the track setting , I’ve noticed a drop in frame rate after the patch and that’s with the reduced textures from using XP .

It’s also awesome to roll behind that thing in a SU-85 equipped with the same 107 mm gun and decimate everything.

Although probably the most fun I’ve had in this game so far was in the matches where my platoon was using 3 KV’s (all with the 107 mm gun) and ended up at the top of the list. Those matches were wicked, we would just get into a wedge formation and storm their base destroying everything that moved. Enemies would also have 3 KV’s but most of the time we’d kill them one by one. Amazing times, pure joy. :)
