Nathan, why didn’t you like the T-43?
I really loved the T-34 in beta, I’m not sure why I’m having problems with it now. Maybe the tank mix has changed. IMO T-34 does not do well against tanks more than 1-2 tiers above it, whereas a M4 or Pzkw IV is still fine.
In other news, I decided the T-44 was having its ammo rack blown too frequently (just yesterday had around 5 matches where it just blew up taking my tank with it). I ended up getting a Wet Ammo Rack. It was a tough choice deciding which of my other equipment items to drop – I was running Rammer, Stabilizer, and Optics. After much consideration, sadly I decided to let the Optics go.

PS. How are folks doing their screen captures? I run it in windowed, so i figured PrintScr key would work, but no luck, does the game have a method for screen capture, or are people using Fraps or the like?

Th is game can go fuck itself. I play this way too much and I waste too much time in pointless matches where either I’m at the bottom of the fucking totempole and can’t even dent the tanks above me, or I’m in matches where my team gets creamed.
Fuck you wargaming. Fuck your matchmaking and fuck your business model.
It’s not armed any better than the tank that came before it and it moves a lot more sluggishly, particularly when turning. The only advantage it has over the T-34-85 is more hit points, but when I play a medium I’m looking more for the mobility. Don’t get me wrong the 100mm is still a great gun (all of the soviet 175mm penetration guns are) but not getting an upgrade when its a fairly long grind at tier 7 is kinda meh. Ironically my best win % on any tank in beta was with the t-43 where I felt all I could really do was hide behind my teammates and take potshots, but that seemed to serve me well.
Also, while sometimes I get annoyed with the matchmaking, I really find that most of the games I play in I’m pretty happy (and what I’m mostly playing right now are KV, KV3, KV1S, SU-85, SU-100, SU-8)
World of Tanks is not a game to play if you have a short fuse, that’s for sure.
Was there ever a time when your team being up in kills when the game ended resulted in a win? I thought that was the case but got a draw for it today.

Luckily, a lot of people playing high-tier tanks are idiots. So, it helps balance things out ;).
Yes the russian med (T-34), it was just one of those crazy rounds where I never came across two tanks at once. It went down to 1 v 1 me vs their KV (who had 5 kills) at the end.
When you are in the bottom 3 tanks for over 50 straight battles, there is something wrong with the game itself.
What’s the best premium tank right now besides the 7500 gold ones? I never have enough money for anything.
I’ve found the Ram II to be a very good money maker and a fun tank to play. The Churchill, too, is fun, believe it or not.
At the lower end the Pz38H735(f) is fantastic fun if you like low tier battling. Mine has a win rate far above my avg
