So is anyone else getting mysterious updates with the launcher? Yesterday (the 22nd), I had a 250MB update, then the 30MB update that was announced for 4.0.3a. Now I’ve got another 140MBs downloading only as of 5pm ET.

Has there been any word on what this is?

Edit: The Blizzard Store’s now got the same special deal for the old expansions for the US store.

Edit: Wow, on my dwarf rogue… All but one of my non-pilgrim’s event quests is no longer in my quest log. I’m glad I took the time to finish up STV last night. I still think I missed 3-4 quests, but it was pretty damn close. I was on until 5 minutes before shutdown. But I had about 7-10 others from other zones.

That’s because most Americans think of it by name (Jim Beam or Wild Turkey) or drink bourbon.

Well the good news is that Loremaster is still achievable (you just need Cata quests as well now), those of us that had the Loremaster of X sub-achievements didn’t lose them, and in the old world they’re now broken down by zone as well, making it easier to figure out where you’re still missing some.

The bad news is that if you were close to achieving one of the old world ones, you may have been set back significantly, as you’ll retain credit for very few quests in those zone counters…

Thought I would check out the big world change since for whatever reason I’ve got a free month for a referral bonus. I do not know why I have a referral bonus because I certainly haven’t referred anyone.

That said, I thought I would try a troll shaman. Got out of the start zone in an hour while adding thirteen people to my ignore list, so maybe that is enlightening on the state of things at the moment.
