I was close to doing that, but I played WoW more than I should have during my free seven days. Something like buying it for three days or even one day would be appealing to me because when my time is up I can’t play.

I don’t think any MMO company yet has offered anything like a weekend pass, have they? I guess that if they are going with monthly fees they don’t want anything that competes with that.

You can set specific playtimes for every day of the week and do some other cool things with it. You might want a friend to set it up for you though, since knowing the password is probably a bad thing :)

I’ve sent out a few scrolls, but no-one seems to have bitten. Anyone else looking for one? I am, at heart, a pokemon trainer… collecting the mounts and companion pets is a thing for me. Just like pack dolls back in Asheron’s Call.

My 8 lvl 80s were all wiped clean of all their stuff with 99c in their accounts. Not a fun reintroduction. Maybe I should take that as the sign I was looking for.

Or you could message Blizzard support and get all their stuff back. I found them extremely helpful when I was dealing with my account hack.

Yep. Also, check the email you use as your account name. If it is a separate one you use for WoW only, it might be compromised as well.

Well, I have one now. I knew when it was hacked because I play sc2 every night (same login).

It is almost a year since I played though so I doubt they can go back in time that far to get all my stuff.

they will actually, I got my stuff back after 5 months of absents, took them like 3-4 days though.

They don’t give you your stuff back anymore. You get a package that includes points and gold to buy stuff with.

This is one of the major reasons why they fired those CS workers. Account restorations are automated.
