I always thought Cake’s cover of I Will Survive was absolutely brilliant in an ironic parody sort of way. They just murder the song.

I have no particular affection for the original, in fact, it’s quite bad. But the Attack Attack song is one of the worst things I’ve ever heard.
Eh, I wouldn’t call that a cover. That’s getting into remix territory, in which there are many hideous examples of popular songs getting completely trashed by dance beats.

Arise, thread!. Just discovered these two. There are some things that once heard cannot be un-heard.
First, I love that this was included on an LP called “Nothing But The Best”. Also dig those swingin’ additions to the lyrics. Ding ding ding!
