they fixed the hole in the latest patch.

In some cases, yeah – I don’t mind doing all the bosses in UP or Maiden of Grief in HoS. But in OK, it’s a lot easier to skip straight to the final boss than bother with the trash packs for the optional ones, because the people who still need those emblems have a lot of overlap with the klutzes who are going to aggro three packs at once and get the group wiped.
yeah, OK I don’t mind as much – but a lot of groups blow by the Hadox, too, which to me is leaving a free badge on the table.

most of those groups are just in it for the daily frost, don’t expect them to stop for a triumph badges.
Random dungeon groups are proof that Zynga is full of it.
Hooray, the Lich King is dead! Well, more dead. The important thing is he dropped all hunter loot.
Awesome job! Congrats!
(except for the hunter loot – booooo!)
[Edit]
At a bare minimum, you should do Gunship Battle on heroic next week. It’s stupid easy. HM Marrowgar and Saurfang are trickier but probably do-able for you guys too. :)

I know that if I were in game and this happened to me, I would be annoyed, but I can’t help but laugh at this recent engineering development.
(I’ve also helped kite Kazzak to Stormwind.)
Cluster Launcher Games!

That’s awesome man I knew you guys would be getting past him pretty quickly
Goddamn, I love that kind of thing so much. I’m so glad I can experience it via YouTube without an active sub ;)
The ICC Buff is supposed to be at 10% today. Will this help me kill the Lich King before I totally burn out on the game? Tune in next week to find out!

10% buff is confirmed at MMO-Champion and the rest. Part of me is disappointed, but I have to admit we probably would’ve missed a few kill shots without the 5% buff. When it ramps up to 30% I guess hard modes will be where the challenging content lies for the casual raiders. Not sure what that leaves for the more successful groups though, except maybe attempting them without the buff.
Oh, and I’m on 30+ days of transmutes now without a single bonus. Before I was averaging at least 2 a week. I’m really starting to consider switching alchemy specs just to see if I got lost in some table somewhere.

I’m averaging 3 procs a month, always 2x. Glad I farmed that Primal Might instead of buying for 150g apiece on the AH.

You can also xmute Saronite into Titanium if you have a handy source available. The Xmute procs on that as well.

The funny thing is I started doing epic gem transmutes in order to get into the gem market (I can transmute on one character, then cut gems on another to sell). After two weeks of doing pretty well at it, I noticed gem prices (especially cut ones) dropped noticeably. I figured it must’ve been a temporary market blip, so I held on to my stock to see if things would work themselves out.
My group was chatting on the way from VoA to Uld last night and someone mentioned how easy it is to get honor since the patch, and apparently a lot of people are getting a ton of honor quick, converting it to epic gems, and then selling them. So now the gem market crash is making more sense at least.
I think I’m now 3-for-3 on getting into something that makes money on the AH, only to have it take a nosedive a couple weeks later. In vanilla I made a bit of money importing black diamonds (or pristine, I forget) just before they stopped being useful. Last year I got into buying up cobalt, crafting high-level greens, and then DEing them to sell the mats just before everyone else started doing it and that market crashed.
I exchanged 10 epic gems converting Stonekeeper Shards to honour and then buying gems from it.
The Shards were useless before since I already got the mount paid by them.

The other reason the gem market is tanking is because the loot infusion is slowing down. When ICC raid and ICC 5s came out everyone and their alt (myself included) was gorging themselves on easy 232/219 gear and Triumph tokens.

Profession whining:
My flask business went south when the Frost Lotus drop rate increased (allegedly)and then Frozen Orbs started being exchangable for FL. Now flasks that would sell for 50g are going for 30g.
High-end enchanting is a spiky, low margin trade at best, with lots of competition and consistently expensive materials (especially greater cosmic essence due to low weapon drops relative to armor drops). Selling a Black Magic scroll for 425g doesn’t result in much profit if you buy all the mats off the AH (6 abyss crystals @ 30g ea, etc…). Waiting for the mats to accumulate through questing and dungeons wont get you many sales per month.
Inscription chugs along, netting me 100g -300g a week, but tracking which glyphs are worth making and posting glyphs (even with Auctioneer automating the undercut process) is time-consuming. I actually think I net more gold per hour doing the argent dailies between my 80s.

I don’t understand how Frost Lotus being cheaper causes making flasks to be less profitable. Either you buy the FL, in which case your mats should be cheaper, or you farm them, in which case it is really that farming is less worthwhile, not flask making.
