X Rebirth

I did, and they gave me no hassle.

When did you submit a ticket and was it opened until you got the money? Did you play the game at all and if so, for how long?

I played a few hours of the game, enough to know that it was horribly broken. I submitted the support ticket about a week ago. I was very polite and simply asked for a credit to my steam wallet.

Which category did you choose when submitting a ticket?

“Space game broke my heart”.

j/k

I lol’d.

There is no refund tab, so i went with random billing issue :)

Same here.

Patch info stuff, if it makes a difference for the poor guys suckered into buying this:

Unfortunately none of it will fix the core problems I have with the game like lack of upgrades, weapons and no other flyable ships.

I forced my way through the story missions back at release and I don’t see anything there to go back to. I’d be more likely to load up X3:TC or AP.

They’re still adding very basic things (yay, I can target in a space sim now, badass!), but there is still a near total lack of game design there. At the rate of patching, this might be happening in Q2 of Never.

New beta patch.

New Feature: Three new gamestarts, each with a new cockpit configuration.

Does this mean they’re three different player ships?

I’d be very suprised if that it so, but…that would be a tremendous advance in the game. I still have it installed, but am scared to try it.

Is there a game in Rebirth now?

I didn’t see it in the patch notes, so I’m assuming no. Check back in version 3.0.

I’m glad to see it’s still under active development. Between that and the mod scene, perhaps I’ll someday get some gameplay value out of this… thing.

Unfortunately not, it’s three different cockpit layouts for the one ship.

But maybe this is a starting point for them to add new ships in the future.

This is like the Xbox One of space sims. In order for it to be good, they pretty much have to reverse every decision they made during development.

At which point it will still be inferior to the competition!
