It took me a second to realize that was his mouthguard flying out - I thought for some reason it was like congealed blood or something. Perhaps I assumed he’d eaten a big glob of pudding and held it in his mouth for this very moment.
My first reaction to the gif was also “that is a ton of weird blood”, so I totally get that.
Thanks guys. I can see that it looks like a taunt and his mouthguard goes flying away, I’m just more interested in what fighter is stupid enough to open his mouth like that and wait for a punch in such a way that an uppercut would break his jaw. What a moron. I’m hoping he’s just on drugs or something.
