Bots guarantee retailers sell through their stock, why would they inhibit them in any way?

Why invest in something that won’t impact your profits, and actively discourage legitimate users? People hate captchas.
Also, they don’t work against the serious scalpers.
The seller said the software bypasses the CAPTCHA system, which generates tests that humans can pass but bots cannot (like picking out words behind squiggly lines), by using “third party bypassing companies that type the CAPTCHAS for you”.
That is, there’s a chance there’s a human somewhere, possibly in India, typing numbers and letters into a CAPTCHA box so that a bot, which has been sold in Panama, and possibly launched from Eastern Europe, can buy tickets in Australia.
Basically there’s an army of guys solving captchas in India for pennies and feeding the results to the bots. This service is called a “Captcha Farm”.

Oh man, XSX has shipped for me!
Mine has shipped! However, it also says it’s in Michigan as of 10 minutes ago. I’m in Iowa. Also, UPS doesn’t yet “have possession” of the package. I’m a little concerned that Amazon is cutting things too close for my well-being! (It’s also supposed to be icy here tomorrow, so that doesn’t bode well for on-time deliveries either!)

Mine on Amazon just went to Shipped status. Tracking info says “Delivery appointment scheduled”, so looks like things are underway for tomorrow.

I redirected my XSX to my nephew. Looks like I’m getting a XSS tomorrow though!
And if my ex BiL takes this to his apartment because he can’t find one, you may never hear of me again, except in the crime section of the local newspaper archives. He’s took his own son’s Xbox with him when he moved out.

Fedex claims mine will be delivered tomorrow before 8. Still haven’t decided what, if any, game to pick up along with it. I’m in the middle of Ninja Gaiden Black and was hoping to finish before the new system arrived, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. I’ll be keeping a close eye on word-of-mouth for The Falconeer.
