Anyone trying to grab one, Best Buy is showing a counter ticking down with 27 minutes remaining at the moment, so that might be worth a shot

On Walmart it says the XSX is in stock at a bunch of my local Walmartās. If they are selling them at midnight Iād be tempted to take a quick trip. Donāt believe it though.
I have my Xbox Series X and the first game I fired up was Minecraft Dungeons, which is free.
I think I may have missed the point of it all.
Mineās getting closer- at the sort facility in Seattle. Come on, baby!

HDR when working right is so damn beautiful⦠its a game changer for me. I am mainly a pc gamer and already am considering going more console with next gen. The biggest caveat is you HAVE to see HDR on a good system and television. I just bought an OLED on sale and it is night and day and thats running a pc to the tv with most at 4k 60 or even HD120.
Alot of the Ubisoft games with HDR are night and day different games look SO good⦠Odyssey and the new Watch Dogs⦠still dont have Valhalla!
Just wanted to reccommend OLED tv⦠it is a massive upgrade. its like having a huge smartphone screen in your family room! I think the new consoles and games are just now taking advantage of these techniques⦠HDR / Raytracing etc etc⦠they do make difference in the games that have them. I was really suprised⦠count me converted~!
Point being, Xbox Series X needs to be played on a new OLED tv!
Yeah, yeah. Iām just waiting for that 48" model to come way down in price.
Absolutely agree. I also like that my OLED will do 1440@120, which seems like a sweet spot for many games performance wise.
Yeah, for some reason, HDR monitors arenāt that great because their brightness is nowhere near as bright as HDR TVs.
Mine went from Aurora, Colorado, to UPSā big west coast air hub in Ontario, California, to Redmond, Washington overnight.
Mine is out for delivery with UPS. Their stalk follow my delivery feature tells me between 2:15 - 6:15 PM today.
I havenāt found those estimates to be especially accurate though. Usually earlier, so fingers crossed!

The new Vizio OLED is available at BB for $900 right now for 55".
Thanks, but thatās just too big. My tv room is small. Right now I think Iām using a nice Samsung 43" 4k HDR thing. I could squeak a 48" in there, but thatās pushing it. Iām in no rush, like I said, my current tv is fine, and can do most of the XSX bells-and-whistles. Prices will come down.

For a TV thatās under 55 inches, having it be 4k is pretty much pointless unless you are sitting like, 3 feet away from it.
Mine is on a Fed Ex vehicle out for delivery! Exciting! It might actually be waiting for me when I get home. (Or stolen off my porch, donāt know yet, we shall see).
UPS just delivered the goods!
The setup is not much more then 6 feet away, for sure. Like I said, the room is small. My living situation is⦠not traditional. My tv/video game room is really a very small side bedroom. My big main living area has no tv (or couch for that matter). But it has plenty of room to setup boardgames, so thereās that.
Frankly, I have no idea how much actual 4k content iāve watched on it. All I know, is that it looks much, much, much better than my old 1080p Westy that I got around the time the 360 came out, and I paid $350 for it, I think. There was no reason to not get a 4k HDR tv at that price. Iāll let yāall know how much better XSX games look on it vs the XboneX.

Ya, I think at some point, newer TVās are just better, and since they are essentially all 4k, I guess it doesnāt really matter.
I think that on a TV that size though, Iād rather play a game at HD at a higher framerate, than 4k.
Costco stepped up. Their Xboxes were supposed to ship a week late, but mine is only for delivery. They also gave me a $10 refund as theyāve discounted their console plus controller bundle to $540.
Guess Iām getting two Xbox Series Xās today!
