They are, but you can only get one if you ordered online. It’s just a quirk of their system, showing them in stock at stores.

Nice! Do you have to work through the rest of the day or do you have time to play around with it today? Mine is scheduled for delivery today and I’m a little worried it will get delivered earlier rather than later and then I won’t be able to concentrate on work!

Mine’s loaded on the truck, but it’s still too early for them to start rolling on the West Coast.

My Xbox finally arrived from Ontario sometime last night, so I can at least breathe easy that I should get it sometime today, god willin’ and the creek don’t rise.

Ok I think I just bought one on Costco, to be delivered in 3-5 days.

If not… well I have a $60 costco membership I’m not gonna use

EDIT: Confirmation email received. Here’s hoping!

I was also able to get one from Costco just now.

As a single man in his 40s living in an apartment alone, what should I use my Costco membership on? Frozen chicken?

The Series S is in stock on Amazon at the moment

Booze and toilet paper.

Do you have a car and drive a lot? Costco gas is priced lower than most gas stations, and if you use a Costco Credit Card you get 4% back on fuel.

Hmm Covid lockdown supplies!

Honestly, they often have good deals on frozen lunch/dinner items. On top of that they usually have good prices on electronics, drinks, etc.

How abouts I just order you your own?

Thanks buddy, you are a mensch.

Costco sells prime grade beef, which isn’t available at your local grocery store. They have a lot of delicious snacks, as my waistline will attest to. They are a good place for items that won’t spoil - TP, paper plates, plastic utensils, deodorant, shampoo, etc. OTC medicines are also cheap.

I would recommend Costco plus their credit card for any appliances or electronics. The prices are comparable to other places and the warranty is generally 4 years or more.

For me, their tire service is entirely worth the membership. Even though I do most of my warehouse shopping from Sam’s, Costco has some amazing deals on tires, and when I tore up some tires due to road hazard, they replaced the tires for free since that’s part of their free road hazard warranty. When I later bought tires from someone else, they said the road hazard warranty would only pay the proportion of the price remaining for the life of the tire. So since I had done 40,000 miles on a 60,000 mile tires, the road hazard would only pay for a small portion of a new tires I’d buy from them. I said “screw you guys, I’m going back to Costco from now on for Tires”.

Costo also fills their tires with nitrogen, and they’ll check your tire pressure and add more nitrogen for free.

Thanks for the tips guys! There’s a Costco real close to me in Everett. I’ll go poke around today, see how their prices are on bulk meat. I need to start meal prepping again, Covid lockdown made me fat.

The car stuff sounds appealing but I’m currently leasing my vehicle, so I probably won’t need to take advantage of it.

Pack it in folks. Cancel your orders.

They also have $5 rotisserie chickens! Don’t forget to grab a chicken.

I prefer the Costco in Lynnwood to the Everett location, mostly because it’s newer. :)
