Lynnwood Costco saved me from having to trek down to Shoreline or sigh trek up to Everett. But the Maple Road/Alderwood Mall Boulevard intersection is a traffic nightmare at rush hour, due to the city putting in another stoplight 100 feet further down on 30th Place W, when they should have put in a roundabout.

But what most people don’t realize is you just need to turn right at 182nd St SW, just right after the Keg. It will take you to Costco from the other side, thus bypassing one of the worst chokepoints in Snohomish County.

So at 9:59AM local I’m thinking here I’m gonna be out of being apart of console launch. No luck trying any previous pre-ordering. Got some good Karma finally and was fast enough clicking when Walmart.com orders went up. Less than an hour later and I’m officially apart of the Next Gen “Cool kids crowd”.

In case anyone is having problems signing in, the Xbox Live Core service is experiencing an issue. Some sites have started to report this.

My box is alternating between telling me there is no access to internet (but settings shows my wifi is connected), or just the general connection error.

Launch day fumbles will never go away!
