To anyone else watching the world series and seeing the commercial for the Episode II DVD, all you have to say is… fuck Star Wars.
Yoda da man? That’s the best they could come up with?

Ugh. Glad I missed THAT one.
Fuck Star Wars.
Fuck Star Wars? When you guys come up for air after giving Chick blowjobs you might realize that the last two movies have fucked Star Wars. No need to beat a dead horse here people.
Says the guy jumping into a thread a month and a half later.
Shh… I think we are witnessing that timeless event - the - “My first beer post”
Notice koontz is replying to an old thread and choosing now to attack a site owner and any of the people who agree with the site owner? He then chooses to make some over-reaching statement of fact, that his tastes are superior to the mainstream and only he can see the secret truth - the rest of us are fools.
All I can say brian is, watch - that first beer is a gateway to a whole lotta things, and many of them end up with you sleeping with the fat chick.

Only very recently did I enter the Movies part of this site, and my reply to this thread was about 1 minute after clicking on it for the first time.
The “Fuck Star Wars” thing here is a Bandwagon. For Tom Chick its fine to say… perhaps he even came up with it prior to The Phantom Menace in which case it gains much extra value.
Tom Chick has a reason for saying it, perhaps even a good one. Its definitely true that he has a better reason for saying it than anyone here does, as is typically the case in Bandwagon situations.
Its not about agreement. Most (if not all) of the people who have stated “Fuck Star Wars” don’t even know Chick’s position on the subject… so I’m not sure what they think they are agreeing to.
Its about Bandwagons and Blowjobs.
The deep irony in all of this is that Star Wars itself is a Bandwagon, and Tom Chick’s words (as I interpret them) are not so much against the movies as against the over-hype of the movies and the Star Wars “world” (and the Star Wars fans).
After all, this is a man of The Royal Tenenbaums and Punch-Drunk Love. Counter-culture… Arty films. “Fuck Star Wars” is Chick’s ode to '60s rebellion.
Tom Chick speaks: “Fuck the Establishment!”
I’m simply allowing Chick to avoid his own hypocrisy.
Then again, perhaps an Anti Hollywood Establishment man living IN Los Angeles doesn’t mind hypocrisy.
Or maybe he hopes the same impetus that generates things like The Royal Tenenbaums will come FROM Hollywood.
 One of you, anyway.
You don’t really know me, do you?
Brian, you really are enamored with yourself, aren’t you? Every post of yours I read I can’t help but get this overwhelming sense of you, typing away at your computer, smugly satisfied with your witty intellect and your ability to verbally lay waste to the lesser citizens of the online community.
Only very recently did I enter the Movies part of this site, and my reply to this thread was about 1 minute after clicking on it for the first time.

Apparently Brian needs but 1 minute to assess the overarching mindset of the Qt3 community, to peer deep within the collective conscience and sum it up in a short, blurb-worthy quote:
Its about Bandwagons and Blowjobs.
Okay, now that we know his thesis statement, let’s continue:
The “Fuck Star Wars” thing here is a Bandwagon. For Tom Chick its fine to say… perhaps he even came up with it prior to The Phantom Menace in which case it gains much extra value.
Tom Chick has a reason for saying it, perhaps even a good one. Its definitely true that he has a better reason for saying it than anyone here does, as is typically the case in Bandwagon situations.
Except that Steve, the thread originator, used “Fuck Star Wars” (which shall heretofore be referred to as The Quote) as a sign of his derision towards the “Yoda da man” commercials. Has Tom Chick used this in the past? Sure he has. Does that preclude anyone else from using The Quote without the intention of providing Mr. Chick with sloppy oral pleasure? Hell no, and you’d have to be a pigeonholing elitist ass whose only desire is to appear superior to his fellow board posters to assume so. Which does explain things, though.
Its not about agreement. Most (if not all) of the people who have stated “Fuck Star Wars” don’t even know Chick’s position on the subject… so I’m not sure what they think they are agreeing to.
How can I argue with this 1-minute post-thread-reading assessment of the majority of posters ascribing to the wisdom of The Quote? Truly, Brian Koontz has divined the true folly of stating The Quote without being Tom Chick. Or, he can’t understand that people could have legitimate gripes with the direction Lucas has taken Star Wars and find the “catchiness” of The Quote an appropriate method of expressing said distaste. Then again, I’m sure none of us Qt3’ers can hope to attain the incredible mental prowess of Brian Koontz and thus shouldn’t even bother challenging his examination of the subject.
Has Tom Chick thanked you profusely yet for allowing him to avoid his own hypocrisy through your analysis of his own motivations? And “ode to 60s rebellion”?? Your whole post almost HAS to be a troll based on that line alone.
The more of your posts I read, the more sure I am that I don’t want to know you.
Oh, and Fuck Star Wars, you arrogant ass.
He… is… a… troll.
Tom gives me blowjobs*. He works for me.
*metaphorical blowjobs, that is. We’re both very heterosexual, though we once slept in the same room. In different beds.
I think Koontz is on to something here. But instead of orally administered gratification, I’d rather have cash royalities every time someone says “Fuck Star Wars”. My email address is listed on PayPal.
And I’d just like to say, about that time I slept in the same room as Steve Bauman, that I was young and needed the money.
-Tom
Give chick blowjobs? You are a little confused about how that sort of thing works, my friend.
Or maybe he isn’t.
I enjoy destruction thoroughly which clearly shows when I am engaged in it. I’m never really satisfied (or rather, all satisfaction is highly temporary), much less smugly so.
Humans should never take the defense of their own identities seriously… if you ever see humans on the defensive that is what is going on. All offense zero defense is a good rule to usually live by.
I might see 10 things inside a human, one of which is bad. I then attack the bad thing, at which time a proclaimation of “Brian is an arrogant bastard for attacking me!” arises.
Once I destroy the thing and it no longer is a part of you, was it YOU I was ever attacking? Or was it something that you’re better off without?
I don’t attack PEOPLE… I attack the elements inside them that they are better off without.
The response to “Fuck Star Wars” has been preparing itself in me for a while… this thread was simply the trigger. My point to Chet was to say that this thread was not a pre-examined place for me, and my post was entirely spontaneous. That in no way means it came out of nowhere.
Tom Chick invented the meaning FOR “Fuck Star Wars” when he coined the phrase in this community. The phrase does NOT mean “Star Wars sucks” (unlike the Yoda da man commercials… where steve meant they DID suck)… Chick is not saying Star Wars is the worst movie series in history. My understanding of his meaning has already been stated.
When its spoken here, its in reference to Chick’s invention, even when spoken by idiots ignorant of what he invented. So when you are referencing his invention but ignoring his meaning, you are being basically a moron. Its kind of like using the word “dog” to talk about a cat.
No, the folly of stating The Quote without UNDERSTANDING Tom Chick. The folly of stating The Quote without understanding what the words mean!
The “catchiness” is derived from Chick’s passion for The Quote… hence the LACK of The Quote in other forums. The catchiness is derived from the meaning of the words… a meaning that steve was ignorant of upon usage.
Destroying me is a vast pleasure.
I doubt that. Tom Chick was born in 1966, making his parents 20-30 (or so) years old during that time. His “Anti-Establishment” turn has to come from somewhere… inspired either against his parents (that’s my guess) or for his parents is the most logical proposition.
Certainly only the brave would.
Indeed.
How does Brian Koontz know what year I was born…?
-Tom
Tom since I am only HUMAN, and Brian so destroyed some part of me (I am still trying to figure out what part, all i know - it isn’t the part that makes dislike Koontz). But since I was so destroyed I gave him the information.
Next I will be forced to reveal your middle initial is W.
Chet
I think Koontz is on to something here. But instead of orally administered gratification, I’d rather have cash royalities every time someone says “Fuck Star Wars”. My email address is listed on PayPal.
Yeah, I’d hold off on that policy and use it in an environment with a larger female population. Christ, like half these guys would even know what they were doing down there.
I started reading Brian’s messages but then my eyes glazed over and I started skimming for bits that I could understand. (Please Brian, don’t assume that it’s because of your intellect; it’s because you write bombastic, incoherent prose.) But could someone please clarify the position of ‘Fuck Star Wars’? Is it because people like the movie or because they don’t? I don’t really use the term because I find it too soft on Star Wars. I still haven’t seen the latest one because I don’t like movies with muppetts in them.
And Brian, Fuck Deus Ex too.
Quotations, my man, quotations. Not that I in any way doubt you, oh no. Its just that I’m all about my self-improvement with respect to clarity.
Its also the single biggest falsity around to spout wild generalities and then not be able to back it up with specifics.

So there is my proof. You never have any idea what you are talking about and yet post 30 page posts about complete rubbish in an attempt to hide the fact that you are completely ignorant. I joke that other people are you or you are other people, but the sad fact remains, I do not think anyone has the energy to post such complete long-winded bullshit on a lark. You are you and only you. (at least we can thank god that there is only one of you.)
