Mario Land 3D, or Hotline Miami.
Card Hunter!!
This exact dilemma comes up a few times a week. If I am finishing up lunch and my book is not holding my attention, then the answer is always a quick time waster game on the iPad. Yesterday it was Hunters2. Last week I was beaten by the AI in Summoner Wars one day and another day I ground out a few rounds of Strikefleet.
If I am really into a game that is portable (like Monster Hunter or Soul Sacrifice) I will keep the relevant device in my bag for random time block gaming, but that is more the exception as it requires forethought.
Nice try, Clay, but I won’t be taking part in your market research!
I can usually get 2 or 3 World of Tanks matches done in 15 minutes.
Just 15 minutes, hmm … probably Peggle.

I’d spend all 15 minutes trying to decide which game is suitable for a 15 minute play-through.
Super Hexagon.
The correct answer is, “…with myself.”

More seriously right now I’d probably try to cram in a quick tournament in Poker Night.
If I have 15 minutes, I usually stare at the screen and dream of playing something and having fun. Or perhaps someone posted some SHIFT keys for Borderlands 2, and I launch the game and add to my collection of gold keys, which I hoard and never use.
That is so depressing.
But pretty common I think. I personally have found myself having more fun talking, reading, and thinking about games than actually playing them over the last few years.
Haha. With a 2.5 yr old and a 2 month old and my wife’s maternity leave ending and me starting an intensive MSc program this week, it’s a scenario (other than having all platforms) I’m going to be living on a regular basis, so I was just looking for some ideas. I’m thinking I’ll give Hotline Miami a try.
For me, Mario Land 3D or Mario Kart 7. 15 minutes is enough time to get in a couple of levels of Mario Land or a few races of Mario Kart.

Lately: Some rounds of Carcassonne (iPad). As a digression: I wish more games featured ELO style rating and persistent, differently-styled AI players.
Most of the next COD.
Guys!
COD single player campaign that is.
Pocket Pool
