Perhaps I should have said, someone will try again to do the no-cost client route. And in fact they do do this, but only after they’ve sold the hell out of the box. You can sometimes get the client for online games for free some years after the game debuts, whether on a cover disk or some other way.
I agree that the sell the box route has proven viable, and that’s why they do it. Um, that’s what I said; I was not arguing that they shouldn’t do it that way necessarily.
