That’s a really deep cut. I can’t believe you remember the Dark Souls intro. Unlike Demon’s Souls intro, which plays every time you start the game, the Dark Souls intro is only shown to the player once, when they first start a new game. I’m very impressed with you right now.

Would not have guessed a fighting game. I also can’t guess a fighting game, because it actually isn’t one, as there’s only one health bar. I like the genre, but that isn’t the question, and I never got much into it either to know the name.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade?

Well that explains why the artstyle seemed familiar, because it is one of Vanillaware’s other games. If it had have been Dragon’s Crown I would have gotten it right away. Alas, unfortunately I am not as familiar with Muramasa: The Demon Blade.
