20 minutes in and we’ve had multiple car chases, a helicopter chase, a car driving through a camper and said camper exploding, a man falling from said helicopter and a traitorous sheriff. Oh also misogyny, abuse and nudity, because it’s then 80s.

It turns out this is not an easy question to answer definitively, but it seems like no, vhs production is no longer going on, but there is still a lot of old stock still in shrink wrap out there for now.
