Anyone know how to view .dvr-ms files?

My father recently bought a Media Center PC which has TIVO like capabilities. My PC is on the same network and I was wondering if I can view the recorded shows from my PC. The files of the recorded shows are in .dvr-ms format. Windows media player doesn’t seem to want to open it saying, “The ÐÄÄÄ codec is required to play this file.” I don’t think ÐÄÄÄ is a legit codec.

Anyone know of anything?

edit: I have windows XP with SP1.

Wham!

cool thanks :)

You can also view them with this update, which requires no re-encoding. Caveat: The non-Media Center rig must be running Windows XP with SP1.
