Battlestar Galactica XX: The Super Crisis Shuffle

You’re all set

With my Move, escort the civilian back to the pile.

Then play my OPG to break down 2 vipers and a raptor for Fuel.

Alright @rowe33 you pick.

No downside to failing this one, right humans?

2 pop and a die roll as well…

At least the raider symbol is good

Now that might just be reckless…

For clarity, is that using a Critical Situation?

Seems fine, bar the effects of treachery cards and of a reckless skill check. Can’t imagine it’s worth wasting our cards on avoiding that.

Nope, just using the Move phase to escort, unless I missed something.

Yeah, you can use move to escort. So my action was a bit wasted because I of that.

I suppose not. They would only vote for the opposition, anyway.

Ok we’ll take the check and tank it.

You can? That’s not how I read the rules at all.

So as I read that, viper activation is something you do with your action, with the available options of attacking, moving or escorting.
The movement step while in a viper can be used to move around in space, or in the normal way to move to any location by discarding a card.

You can basically activate the viper twice. The base rule is less specific because the escort rule didn’t exist.

Still not seeing where you get that from.

This thread on BGG agrees with me, though it’s hardly an authoritative source.

Reading through the rules, looks like you’re correct, human. I’ll have to redo things when I’m back home, sorry all. At Disneyland with the other human people!

We’ve done that a bunch this game, right? I think that we should give the Cylons 5 civilian ships to place on the pursuit board.

Do you have a second BSG box somewhere, @Lantz?

A I see now. Moving is not activating

I was fooled by the instead of moving part.
At least I can blame my non native English for that :)

I’ll just do the Fuel part of my turn them and stay in the sector with the civilians.
