Boardgaming in 2020: the year of the, uh, post-minis era? We can only hope!

It only took 13 months before we played a four player game of Pendragon: Fall of Roman Britain! We played the short teaching scenario. Two of us had played three or so games before, but not in a year or so. Two new players. It took us quite a while, and we had to finish about five cards or so before the second epoch round. I think the game was a lot better with four players as it emphasized the diplomacy and uneasy alliances within the factions. We’re planning on playing one of the medium-length scenarios next time, and I’m looking forward to seeing how that goes.
