Didn’t see this one on QT3 yet.
No commentary, but obviously an investment icon. Always came accross as pretty switched on and down to earth to me.
I don’t know much about him beyond the basics. As I understand things, that’s the way he preferred it. What I did see, he struck me as a more down to earth sort of guy than one might expect.
RIP.
He was (not surprisingly) covered pretty heavily in the Warren Buffet biography I read like a decade back. An interesting odd duck, in about all the ways you’d expect. All in all, seemed like a pretty good dude.
