We watched the first ep this weekend. It was okay. Not good enough for me to continue, but nothing I could point to as offensively bad.
$300 million mission accomplished!
Ha ha, we all watched one – and probably only one – episode of Citadel!
Good enough for a second season!
I didn’t make it through an entire episode.
Which of course means that it will have a second and probably two more seasons.
Since everyone else is bagging on it, I will go on record as saying that I think Citadel is Just Fine. Is it creative and innovative? No. Do the stars have any charisma at all? Also no. But it visits pretty locations and blows stuff up real good. It’s been edited down so close to the bone that it never lags for a minute. And I’d rather watch all of Citadel again three times than watch either of the last two seasons of Jack Ryan again once.
I also thought Black Widow was better than Captain Marvel, so maybe I just have a weakness for big-budget James Bond wannabes.
