I was hoping this was somehow Dean Martin related. You disappoint me, son.
I was just about to post this. I saw this before Django and thought instantly, “Now THIS is how you cut a trailer.” The Pink Floyd cover, that tracking shot down the spiral starcase, the dude getting ratrocuted or whatever, the truck through the goddamned safe house, it’s mezmerizing.
Even with all the slo mo action shots, that still looks damn good. Reminds me of an early John Woo film or something.
