Diagnosis needed for my pc

Ok. I built my system 2 years ago. Parts from came from NewEgg and I’m usually good with this, but so far I’ve had 2 hard drives, a doa power supply, dvd rom go bad and now this…
My monitor died so I bought a new Samsung. I plugged it in, but I’m getting no picture. I’ve tried both the rgb connection and the dvi. My guess is that the video card has now gone given up the grave. I tried the monitor with my mac and it worked perfectly. Is my video card bad or is it just a setting I can’t change because I can’t see?

If I’m replacing my video card any suggestions on what I should bump up to.

You can always reset your BIOS (remove the battery from the motherboard and unplug the power supply) and see what happens. I would say reseat the video card and reset the BIOS to start with.
