Do you feel like every day is a race against time?

Children don’t have any notion of their time on Earth being finite, and their imaginations are completely open-ended?

Yes. For 20+ years since my anxiety/panic disorder started. It’s like this always.

Therefore, if you want to experience this freedom from finitude that children have, be like a child at play.

Or, to quote Forest Whitaker as the Ghost Dog, take Small things Seriously, and take Serious things Lightly. Couldn’t find the clip, sorry.

It’s funny how some things can only be well expressed in aphorisms, or even poetry. Ghost dog was a formative movie for me. It sunk way down in my soul, opening up all kinds of avenues of thought for me.
