Everybody moves on...

… the dogs died. Just one old Blue alone in his Tower now.

:(

I see he walks his neighbour’s dog though :)

RPS:

As one of the last two members of the original RPS team to leave the Treehouse (Alec this week, me at the end of next week), I’ve found myself getting all nostalgic. Trying to remember how it all began, twelve long years ago.

To do this, as well as chatting with the other three founders – Jim Rossignol, Alec Meer and Kieron Gillen – I’ve been going through 2007 emails, looking to find origin stories for RPS.

Aw, I always enjoyed Alec’s work. Really solid critic.

Worthplaying (where I got my writing start back in 2003) is still around.

The founder of PC Perspective left for Intel too recently. Seems to be the current trend. Build a hardware site up then go off to one of the big comapnies for that fat corporate check.

Didn’t GoneGold transition to OctopusOverlords.com?

That’s where a lot of the community went, but it isn’t the same site or run by the same people.

What is thresh doing now? He gave up on firing squad a long time ago.

He sold Xfire to Viacom for $100M and is pretty much living the good life.

Incredibly I think he might be trying to have some sort of phone friendly view now. I hate it :)

Bjorn3D and EvilAvatar sited appear to still be around.
