Totally viable to play 2D games on it in laptop mode. 3D performance is pretty anemic, especially with the high resolution, but I always have more than enough 2D indie stuff I want to play that it hasn’t been an issue.
Touchscreen gaming is more of a mixed bag. Lots of games rely on right-clicks or mouseovers, and don’t play well with finger input. Using the stylus helps for some, but not all.
