I’m wondering which of these I should selec? (from the free virus protection from updating to XP2).

Which will trash my system less?

I’ve been using CA with zero problems. MUCH nicer to your system than Norton.

You could also try AntiVir. Free, very good and very small memory footprint. (Again, unlike the Symantec POS.)

I like avast! well enough. What makes those 2 better?

When you upgrade to service pack 2 and windows doesn’t detect virus protection they give some suggestions on what to use. I picked the eztrust one and haven’t had any real issues with it. It did have problems at first knowing that I had registered it, kept popping up windows explorer asking me to, but the problem eventually went away on its own.
