So yeah … the term “on a slow boat from China” comes to mind. Literally as well, since dealextreme.com appears to be Hong Kong based. I got my flashlights, but none of the cool batteries yet, they were back-ordered. Still though, they are -almost- as fast as Dell shipping. cymbal Thank you, thank you. I’m here all week, folks.

I was just wondering about that when I saw the thread got bumped, and was glad to hear that you got yours. I ordered mine a couple of days later, but it’s been marked as “Processing - Awaiting stock” since 1/26. :(

Got my order from deals express also today! That light is indeed super bright. The dog’s poop will have nowhere to hide from me now! (there’s nothing like searching for missing dog turd at 5:30 in the morning to make you re-examine what your life has become)

Yeah I fired mine up with a AA battery for testing. Do not look into the light. Repeat, do not look into the light. This is not your gradeschool G.I. Joe flashlight. I couldn’t see for like 5 minutes afterward.

My DealExtreme light arrived today, too. Damn it’s bright. And it looks surprisingly well made for being so cheap.

I like high end flash lights but i try to find AAA or AA versions for better access to batteries. 4Sevens, Fenix and Maratac all make super bright AAA/AA flash lights.

I own the Maratac AAA. it’s a fantastic light but i wish it had a button instead of twist on/off
