Well to be serious for a second, all we’ve learned is that general-purpose tablets not named the iPad have not been handled correctly up to this point.
Selling products at the same price point as Apple is bad, and they just keep doing it.
According to Wikipedia, tablet computers have been around since 1888, and only one has made any kind of impact. I see very few reasons to get one over a netbook, although maybe that could change in the near future.
This is why no one trusts Wikipedia! ;)
They have a link to the patent of it. I think it’s a stretch to call it a tablet computer, though.
