Giveaway thread!

I’d say Brotherhood is just as good or better than 2, with a nice cliffhanger ending that must lead into Revelations, but I haven’t played that one yet. Definitely worth a look-see, though.

I guess over the years I’ve gotten some freebies, because my Uplay account has 3, 4, Rogue, Unity, and Odyssey unlocked. I have no memory of that happening. Course the one I want to play is the Victorian one, and that one’s not unlocked.

Yeah, I really disliked most of Assassin’s Creed 2, but I loved AC: Brotherhood through and through. My only complaint is that it’s too long. It’s beautifully designed and virtual Rome is amazing, but I wish they had a shorter campaign within that framework.

Brotherhood has a part where you steal one of Da Vinci’s tank prototypes and drive around blowing stuff up, so it’s obviously the best AC.

Brotherhood is the one with Venice where you fight the pope, right?

If so it is the best. After Black Flag.

Pretty sure that’s AC2?

I think you’re right. That fight provides most of the impetus of the plot of Brotherhood.

I guess I really need to install Revelations and finish off that story.

Brotherhood is the one where you conquer Rome after fighting the Pope.

Yeah AC2 is the one in Firenze where you kill hundreds of people before punching the pope on the nose and letting him go, because “he’s not worth it”.
Amazing writing.

Thanks, been years since I played so forgot.

Really I remember Venice, Rome, and Firenze more than any other details about the games.

@Left_Empty great writing indeed

I still like 1-Syndicate better than the last two piles of steaming poo that have an AC name on them, though.

Not surprising, all of those games are architecture porn. AC3 was the worst cause it had early American architecture which was mostly some wooden cottages. Then AC4, Origins and Odyssey are also about nature porn.

I think 2 and Brotherhood were very good. Improvements in the mechanics from one, great settings and a decent plot. But that is as far as I got. I have owned 3 for ever and have not played it.

You gotta play Revelations to finish Ezio’s story!

I think I own it as well. I might give it a try then. It always takes me awhile to get into the games because of the massive amount of control options. So many combinations. Maybe I should try using my Xbox controller with it.

I have a few things from the latest Humble Bundle if anybody wants them:

The Darkness II

Sid Meiers Pirates!

Spec Ops: The Line

#### BioShock: The Collection - GONE

Civilization III

All steam keys.

Would be nice if they ported AssCreed 1-6,7,8w.e. to the latest engine and let you launch all of them from a single executable/integrated storyline. Came here to post about AssCreed2 on Uplay but see someone posted it already.

If you haven’t got Spec Ops the line yet, grab it (from above). Only way to get to Dubai these days.

Geez Louise, how many Asscreeds are there?

I counted this morning: 13 main games, believe it or not. At least 8 or 9 handheld/mobile games as well.

It’s pretty amazing considering the first game was released on the PS3.

Anyone want a copy, I got a spare from a friend who didn’t want it from his monthly humble.

It’s not great, but also not terrible. :D
