Yes, the Gothic Remake is coming.

Just a playable teaser on Steam now. THQ Nordic wants to know if this concept is worth it. This is not a full game. Its a playable teaser version to a potential approach for a new Gothic game. Nothing is set in stone. So your feedback is essential to turn Gothic into a modern game. Therefore, and to reward your loyalty, Gothic - Playable Teaser is totally free for all fans who already have any of the titles in the Gothic saga or developed by Piranha Bytes

But it’s important to note the Gothic Remake is not what’s going to be on Switch next month. It’s a port of the original game (with bug fixes, and presumably a control overhaul, to play it with controllers, I’m very curious if they pull that off).
