Help Choosing a Pre-built Gaming PC Please

I’m sure Starcon (2?) supported the Gravis Ultrasound. I had friends that raved all about it.

The original Star Control used the MT-32 and it’s INSANE.

Nice! I got the Aorus Gaming 5, very pleased with it.

Very glad to hear it!

That Doom music sounds cool but it just sounds wrong to me after those songs were seared into my brain as General MIDI.

That does sound quite a bit better than General MIDI.

(But still nowhere near as good as MOD music from StarCon2 and later redbook audio.)

MOD music was the best music! Space Debris forever!

EEEEEOMG IS SO BEAUTIFUL

That keyboard…

2018, the year I beat you with it.

Do you use one of them purple colored keyboard 6 pin to USB adapters? :D

I will have to for the new PC, yes.

IS IT NOT MAJESTIC AF?!

Yo dawg, I heard you liked adapters!

It looks like you have more room at least to your left, if you had a longer desk. Are you all crowded up like that simply because your desk is too short? If so, I’d highly recommend addressing that, rather than scrunching up all your monitors.

Yeah, there’s a 8-shelf bookshelf on my left, so I can’t really move much in that direction.

Awesome!
There are no limits when it comes to keeping our old favorites going.
I can relate.

God damned right.

You need to clean the Viewsonic. For a second I thought it was on my screen, almost went to grab a cloth.

And grats. :)

@BrianRubin did you end up going Intel or AMD?

Will do.

And LK I’m going AMD for the new rig. Here’s everything I’ll be getting minus the video card.
