That’s Blackout, the new Battle Royale mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4…
There is like zero actual information in that video. Not a promising start.
That was a pretty neat video. I love the way it starts on a typical Call of Duty level. So okay, you’ve got the top floor of a skyscraper. But it’s more than just the one room and balcony. But wait, it’s more than just the whole floor. But wait, it’s more than just the top two floors of the building. But wait, it’s more than just the whole skyscraper and the surrounding air filled with helicopters. And so on, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Air and Sea Vehicles? A huge map like that, it sounds really cool.
From a technical level, can they really do a map that large where each area has as much detail as a typical Call of Duty map? This seems like a massive undertaking. That map has got to be bigger than several Call of Duty campaigns put together.
