We are locked to 10 votes over 2 weeks now for the decadelies vote.
Yet again I’m back with a scoring poll. I waited just long enough for you to forget about it and now you can say “What the hell? Really?!” But our fair readers demanded another poll so another poll they will get. This one allows multiple answers. The three options are essentially:
- The rank decides the number of points a vote will get, compared to baseline of 10 points, your “best” game will get 2.5x the number of points, and your less favorite 6 games will get half as many points.
- All votes get the same number of points.
- We can do both these things and make everyone happy. If you rank your list we’ll do a weighted point assignment per the poll values 25,20,…, etc If you don’t rank your list we’ll assign 10 points to each option, so everyone will get a total of 100 points regardless of voting style.
So, without further ado…
How many points should each vote get? (You can pick multiple options)
- 10,10,10,10,10,10,10,10,10,10 (all points same regardless of order)
- 25,20,15,10,5,5,5,5,5,5 (some limited weighted scoring based on rank order)
- Why not both? (you can order your list if you want and if you do we’ll do the first set of points, otherwise even weighting for anyone who posts them unordered)
- Dude, just stop (I know, I know…)
