Also: Learn how to craft balloons ASAP, and redesign the starting 'house' the first opportunity you get to only need 1 balloon to stay afloat but have several of them on, just in case one pops. And they will pop when you run into the fire breathing dragonlings or the fire rain zones. Nothing is more annoying then to have hours of play ended by a fall to your death, with your entire house, for several loading screens all the while unable to do anything about it.
