The US has become a shitty country, objectively, and it’s due to Republicans. I say that as a Canadian and acknowledging that of course there are good people with positive intentions in the US, but they are democrat-leaning and have little net power over national or state policies. It’s shitty in my definition because of the wealth gap, racism, crumbling infrastructure, gun crimes, corruption (e.g. college admissions scandal), terrible media (fair and balanced!), and increasingly poor culture consisting of stupid movies and TV series about super-heroes fighting a corrupt government mixed with gun-masturbation, over and over again. Edit: to be clear, this list is what I link explicitly to Republican policies and mindset.
