That’s always the catch isn’t? Will you be able to get the big discount of the bundle if you own some of the game.

Not owning many of these already, good month here too.

That’s where I picked up my copy. Don’t need another one, and nothing else on the list turned my head. I’ll probably pause this month.

Short answer : YES
Long Answer : Also YES ($12.28 for War of the Chosen plus Tactical Legacy DLC for owners of XCOM 2 and the two DLC included in the Humble choice)

How did you do that calculation, just wondering? Did you buy this bundle and not have XCOM 2 etc already?

Does one apply the 42% bundle discount to the prices of just the DLC?

first one in a while for me, v solid

I wasn’t offered this for free (sadface)

Hmm, was it only for Classic subscribers?

I was classic, paused for April but restarted for May

Ah, that’s it then, it was an extra freebie for not pausing April’s bundle.

Disappointing, that’s the first time I paused in 3+ years

Yes, the 42% is the Bundle Discount. Since it is a Steam Magic Bundle, you simply add the sale prices of the items you do not already own, so $13.19 for War of the chosen and $7.99 for the Tactical Legacy Pack DLC, giving you $21.18, then apply the 42% bundle discount (so * .58) to reach $12.28 to complete the collection.

That $12.28 is lower than the historical low on War of the Chosen alone, which makes it a ridiculous deal on both it and the Tactical Legacy DLC.

Good month for me personally. I’ve nearly purchased Jurassic World and Rise of Industry a number of times over the last month.

Okay, so what are the 9 recommended games?

Thanks for the explanation. Going to post it in the relevant Reddit thread to let people know.

Despite the positive reviews, I didn’t think Horace was very good. A lot of dialogue, and a little bit of platforming.

Well, if I can only speak to the games I’ve played …
XCOM 2 is excellent (and is better with War of the Chosen, so get it in the Steam Bundle after you’ve logged all the DLC on Steam)
Niche is more of a biology board game than anything else. It’s NOT for everyone, but it’s interesting for a spell.

Those on my Steam wishlist (which to be fair is huge):
Rise of Industry
Jurassic World (although not looking forward to the DLC slog)
Warhammer 40,000: Gladius
Horace

Those which look interesting but I hadn’t noticed before:
Warsaw
The Swords of Ditto
Neoverse

I will say that Warsaw kind of interests me as well as Rise of Industry, on top of the WH40k game already mentioned.

But when to actually play them all is the question.

Thank you all for your help.

I don’t need 9 or 10 good games, I just need someone to point out two bad ones, anyone?
