IBM is launching some sort of packaging of various open source products, including its own (although details are missing from both articles), Redhat, and Novell’s, that work on Linux, Windows, and Mac. Not much is known other than it supports Open Doc format and bundles Firefox. I’m guessing it uses something similar to Open Office, but with the lack of direct mention of Sun I’m not really sure. I suppose Open Office could be considered a separate entity now, so perhaps it could still be part of the bundle.
