OK I’ll bite – plain old Da Vinci Code?
Yes. Currently at PAX, so screens later
Okay, back from PAX.
So, yes, it was The Da Vinci Code, the 2nd highest grossing movie of 2006, thanks in no small part that it was based on a book that sold 80 million copies worldwide. If I wrote a book that sold 80 million copies, I’d be doing hookers and blow the rest of my life, but Dan Brown went back and wrote some more books in the series, and those books got turned into movies, including Inferno which is due out later this year.
There’s a lot of Audrey Tautou in these frames.
I’m getting a Cherry 2000 vibe off of that.
No, but dangit that was the one I was GOING to do and forgot.
The first frame felt so familiar (but impossible to place), but the others aren’t clicking at all.
Oh my god, I totally know this, but I can’t think of the name of it! Shoot.

80:80 and last one. This will hopefully jog memories. Also, the real star of this film is always just a few frames ahead or behind.

Not looking good for success. I’ll get something else ready for later tonight if I lose.
That’s looks like Stephen Furst wearing a deputy’s star hugging Chuck Norris. Is this Silent Rage?
Yes! Fine work, good Dr. Crypt. Chuck Norris is always just offscreen.
I really do think someone said “Hey, let’s do a Halloween ripoff but Chuck Norris is the protagonist! What could go wrong?”
Over to you sir.
ETA: The guy who has Flounder in the bear hug is the psycho killer, not Chuck.
Blind Date?
Is that an episode of Little House On The Prairie?
I’m guessing this is some horror movie from the 80s and I’m going to be bummed when I don’t get it. Dr Crypt loves him some Brian De Palma, so could it be The Fury? Maybe the 20:20 is the research institute where I think John Cassavettes gets exploded and the 40:40 is someone being psychically harried?
