Always liked the J. Geils Band. “Centerfold” and “Love Stinks” were fun, pop-rock excursions.
RIP, I always preferred the earlier, blues-based stuff.

I swear there’s one woman in the Centerfold video that looks like Martha Quinn of early MTV fame.
Martha would occasionally, laughingly have to deny that it was her on MTV back in the day while she was a VJ there.

J Geils band was one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. They were huge in the Detroit area and they always treated us like their 2nd home.
RIP John Warren Geils.
