Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … the flames burned the left side of Jay’s face, but thankfully did not penetrate his eye or his ear.
I’m not sure what caused the fire, but damn that’s scary. Hopefully he’ll be okay.
Statement from Jay:
“I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”

He is a serious car collector and tinkerer. I wonder if he had a problem with something he was working on?

I was at an auto-shop recently, where they had youtube premium, and on the TV waiting lounge, they played episodes of Jay’s youtube show about cars. It was really nice! I watched about 3 episodes while I was waiting.
Glad he’s ok.
Now he was allegedly taken out by an unmarked wire in a parking lot while riding a motorcycle. Bones broken, spirits high.
All the while, a tall man with a red-gray pompadour glares through his binoculars, chuckles grimly, and prepares the next motor-themed “accident”.
