Logitech MX 700 Cordless Mouse

I used to think the same thing, until I started using a mousepad that had a clip to ensure that you always had slack in the mouse cable. That 2-3 feet of cable actually causes a significant amount of friction if it’s in contact with a flat surface over it’s length, or even one sharp edge.

I’ve got an MX700 and honestly it’s the best mouse I’ve ever owned. Comfy, responsive, doesn’t have the usual lag inherent in cordless mice I’ve used before, and I’ve not had a lick of trouble out of it.

Also, cell phone doesn’t seem to interfere, and I’ve got the receiver sitting about an inch away from my 19" monitor - and a TV about 2 feet away too - and no interference there either.

Me likey.
