So I guess the only real advancement in kb technology in the past 5 years is plain irritation…or wireless irritation.
For mice, I’ve heard very good things about IBM’s mouse shape and its thumb button implementation.
And for keyboards…don’t laugh…but an Apple Pro USB keyboard is probably the best I’ve found. Unlike 99% of PC keyboards it doesn’t have shit like “Internet” and “e-mail” and for buttons (granted, it does have its own Mac specific peculariaties, such as a different Num Pad layout and F14/F15/F16). For me it’s great because it’s much smaller than a typical PC keyboard so I can tote it with my laptop easily enough.
