We have strong characters, great gameplay, romances, and more, all dealing with mature themes.
And softcore space porn.
It’s not really a problem unless they can’t sell in certain store fronts or I guess under whatever the heck the age is for a Mature rating is these days.
I can see the EA exec fuming in a board room about the success of The Witcher 3 and insisting it was because of the nudity. Bioware was likely forced to adhere to a strict quote of tits and ass.
I never thought I’d see the day with nudity in a Bioware game. That hilarious shower scene is seared into my memory.
I hope Bioware has learned something from CD Projekt RED’s Witcher 3.
They certainly did, we’ll be getting Batman Hunter Predator Witcher Detective vision.
Honest question: why would this be a step in the right direction?
16 GB recommended memory specs rather suggest to me a game that isn’t properly optimized, but if they use the Frostbite engine that probably isn’t the case. (The new Star Wars: Battlefront ran like a dream for me on the highest settings, for example.)
16GB is clearly a “Fuck it, just slap something ludicrously high on there so people say ‘ah, well… I guess I don’t meet the recommended specs, so any performance issues I run into are to be expected’”.
For whatever reason, the games coming from some AAA publishers this cycle have had ludicrous system specs. I bet you can play this game on a 1st gen “i” processor and be just fine.

Unless this game is going to look twice as good as The Witcher 3, it shouldn’t need these specs to run well.

It’s true. EA only produces the highest resolution genitalia. The bloom and motion blur is a little over the top, though.
Didn’t he mean softcore space porn as in space porn like Elite or Homeworld has space porn? (starships, blaters, explosions, and lasers, etc). Those character models Bioware has going in this iteration don’t look very porn-ish otherwise. Just Sayin’

Oh no one is shitting on Bioware here. Softcore space porn. Games of Simon for the true ending… in the end I think most just want to know if the next game is enjoyable, full nudity or otherwise.
